Do you have questions about charging with Qwello, charging infrastructure for your business, or building and operating public charging infrastructure in your municipality? You'll find answers to common questions here. For more information, see our full FAQs.
First check that the charging cable is properly connected to your vehicle and the charging station. Then try starting the charging session again using your charging card or the QR code for direct payment. If the charging session still won't start, please contact our 24/7 support team. You'll find the contact details directly on the charging station.
Yes. You can charge at Qwello charging stations without a charging card or a contract with an e-mobility provider. Simply scan the QR code on the charging station and follow the instructions for direct payment.
Qwello handles technical operation and maintenance. This includes technical monitoring, regular servicing and upkeep, fault resolution, and user support.
Yes. At business locations, the charging infrastructure can be publicly accessible or reserved for a defined group of users, depending on the intended use – for example, employees, customers, or the company's own fleet.
Qwello plans, builds, and operates publicly accessible charging infrastructure for municipalities. We manage the entire process – from site selection and implementation planning through installation and commissioning to long-term operation, including technical monitoring, maintenance, fault clearance, and user support.
Charging locations are assessed based on a range of site factors. These include, in particular, expected charging demand and usage potential, parking behaviour, location and accessibility, available parking spaces, technical feasibility, and grid connection capacity. For public sites, the selection is made in coordination with the relevant municipality.
