PRICING

Our pricing model: transparent charging, fair pricing

Transparent from the start: before you charge, you can see the prices that apply at your Qwello location.

Alongside the price for the energy charged, our tariff may include a time-based component. This helps ensure charge points are used efficiently and not occupied for longer than necessary.

So you don't have to move your car specially at night, this time-based component is capped at a maximum of three hours overnight.

Please note: when charging via a roaming provider, the prices and terms of your respective mobility provider apply. These may differ from Qwello's direct prices.

How it works

Charging with Qwello is simple from start to finish

Find a charging station, check availability, plug in your vehicle, and start your charging session – all in just a few steps.

Find a station

Use the Qwello App or map to find public charging stations near you or at your destination.

Check availability before you arrive and navigate straight to the location you've selected.

Check the station status

As soon as you arrive, the LED status indicator shows you from a distance whether your charge point is available, reserved, or in use.

Green: Available. Yellow: Reserved. Blue: Charging. Red: Unavailable

Connect your vehicle

Depending on the station, you can use the tethered Type 2 cable or connect your own cable via the Type 2 socket.

The charging station's display guides you through the charging process in just a few steps.

Start charging your way

Start your charging session through the Qwello App, with a Qwello Card, or by contactless payment.

In the app, simply tap “Charge” in the station details to start the charging session.

Track and finish your session

Track your charging progress in the app — including the amount of energy charged, charging speed, and current cost.

To end the charging session, unlock your vehicle, release the cable, and continue on your way.

Roaming Partners

Charge with your e-mobility provider

Already using a charging card or charging app? Through our roaming partners, you can use Qwello charge points with your existing e-mobility provider too. You remain a customer of your e-mobility provider, charge at their rate, and continue to be billed by them.

Alternatively, you can charge directly with Qwello and use our available ad hoc and online payment options at the applicable Qwello terms.
